❗️Happy Easter, best wishes to everyone. Release of Version 2.99.0 has been postponed and will happen after the Easter Monday, that is when these changes will take affect❗️
As part of out ongoing effort to streamline check-ins and make them more user-friendly, we are rolling out an important update to the process of checking-in/out.
What does this mean?
Recently, we've been hearing a lot of feedback that you are looking for additional ways to manage the flow of inbound/outbound drivers that need to go through check-in.
As such, as of 2025-04-17, we are separating Driver Check-in and Check-out links, which means that:
Drivers will no longer be able to use the same link for check-in/out
-
- Each will now have a unique link respectively
All existing links will become invalid after an update on 2025-04-17
-
- After the update's gone live, new links will be automatically generated by the system
- Make sure your tablets/other devices are using the latest links
- ❗️If you were using check-in links anywhere else (Instructions for Carrier, internal booking instructions you've shared with your clients, etc), make sure to update these sections❗️
Just like the links, QR codes will also be automatically updated
-
- If you have QR codes printed physically, make sure they are updated
Why are we doing this?
- Multiple clients have reported they would like to only allow checking-out internally, by the warehouse staff, and wanted to restrict the option for drivers to check-out themselves
- Drivers have issues navigating the workflow/check-in form, which often leads to checking-out immediately by accident.
How do I make the necessary changes?
After the update set to go live on 2025-04-17:
- Go to "Settings"
- Open up the "Check-in" tab
- If you are differentiating between warehouses, pay attention to the "Warehouse" section
- If you are checking-in based on workflows, go through the "Workflows" section
- You will notice the 2 new links/QRs for Checking-In/Out now appear in the "General Settings" section
Copy and replace the links/QR codes as needed to make sure you are up-to-date.
